Under
the motto "the peace movement for the world union", this
contest takes aim at electing peace emissaries to protect the happiness
of mankind and the peace of the world from all the threatening factors
like environmental pollution and diseases.
There
are a great number of beauty contests in the world, but World Miss
University Contest, which was suggested by members of the International
Association of University Presidents and established in commemoration
of the UN-designated Year of Peace in 1986, has special meanings and
values than any other contests.
This
Contest is a festival for the youth with intelligent, virtue and beauty
to get together and promote friendship and harmony encouraging spirit
of the world peace and love.
In
the past, people used to regard only appearance as a point of reference
of beauty, Anyhow, as time passing by, the standard for estimating
women's true beauty has been changing. Now the intrinsic beauty such as
kindness, goodwill, tolerance and intelligence is as important as
seeming beauty. The external beauty, internal beauty and intelligence
should be harmonized so that the scent of true beauty can be spread.
And the true beauty has to in behalf of the happiness of mankind and
the world peace. The World Miss University Organizing Committee has
made many efforts to lead this change.

deeply wish the International Peace Emissary of World Miss University
can reach everywhere needs help, love and hope and diffuse their beauty
to build a worldwide network just as they have been doing up to the
